DAVID BRADLEY is married to Sheila; they have two children and one granddaughter. He was born in Birmingham in 1934 and has lived in Bridgnorth for thirty six years. Until his retirement he worked as a pharmaceutical salesman. He is a former officer of the Boys Brigade, an occasional preacher at Cartway, and has been an elder for fifteen years. His hobbies include classical music and travel. ANN BROWN is married to Colin, who is a supernumerary minister, and is the happy mother of three children and six grandchildren. Ann is a retired teacher and is particularly interested in exploring creative aspects of worship, using stories, drama and visual materials. RUTH COLE is married to Derek and has two sons and four granddaughters. Since retiring as a primary school teacher she became a Home-Start volunteer. Ruth is a long serving elder and is currently Church Secretary, part time organist and supports Cartwheels. She is also actively involved in Bridgnorth Fair Trade Group which worked to make Bridgnorth the first Fair Trade town in Shropshire. JOHN HURST-KNIGHT is married to Myra and has four children and ten grand children. He is a long standing elder who has been treasurer of the Shropshire District of the United Reform Church and is a member of the Shropshire Standing Advisory Council on religious Education. John is a Town, District and Council Councillor and is a former mayor of Bridgnorth. ANN WALKER is married to Don, a local farmer, and helps with the running of various projects on the farm. They have three children and four grand children. Ann has attended Cartway since childhood and has been an elder for eighteen years during which time she has been Treasurer and then Church Secretary. She works on a voluntary basis for the Citizens' Advice bureau and is on the local fundraising committee for Save The Children. KATHY WHITEFOOT is married to Mick and has three grown up sons. She is a Primary School teacher and is involved with Cartwheels. Kathy has been an elder for a number of years, acts as a Minutes Secretary to the Elders, the Pastoral Group and the Church Meeting and is also the Safeguarding Officer for the Church. She is also involved with one of the All Age Worship teams. Her interests include handicrafts, music and exploring Britain. GEOFF WINWOOD is married to Florence and joined Cartway in 1986, having previously been a member of both the Anglican and Baptist Churches in the area. He became an elder in 1991 and an accredited Methodist Local Preacher in 1997. Geoff worked for forty five years in the motor trade as a Parts and Customer Care Manager and now operates his own business. Previously a magistrate for over 20 years he believes strongly in the move towards church unity and the breaking down of denominational barriers.
